Farm and Fun Field Trip
Take your classroom outside! Begin your day with a guided walk to meet our alpacas. Then, treat the kids to some well-earned outdoor fun where they can ride, slide and play on all the farm-tastic attractions. And of course, you’ll want to pack a “down on the farm” picnic style lunch. The Farm Store will be open for souvenirs, if desired.
Homeschool Days
Enjoy a day of fun on the farm with other homeschool families! Homeschool days begin with a guided walk to meet and learn about our alpacas. After that, stay and enjoy the farm attractions. Pay as individual families or gather a group of other homeschool families for a discounted rate.
Spookley the Square Pumpkin’s Bullying Prevention Field Trip
Learn about spreading kindness with Spookley the Square Pumpkin! Spookley is the star of bestselling books and animated movies that air on Disney and Netflix. Spookley is also the official spokes-pumpkin for National Bullying Prevention Month in October and his story helps us realize that the things that make us different are the things that make us special. Teacher Resources available upon request. (FREE Educator Resources available upon request!) The Farm Store will be open for souvenirs if desired- including Spookley Merchandise!
Payment
Field Trips costs are calculated per child. Payment is to be collected by Group Leader and paid in one transaction upon arrival.
Waivers
Group Leader must collect a waiver signed by each child’s guardian and present them upon arrival to farm. Staff member waivers are also required prior to start.
Facility
Portable outdoor toilet and handwashing station is available. Basic first aid kit is available but there is no nurse or doctor on staff. Be sure to note on the request form if any special accommodations are requested.
Attire
This is a completely outdoor experience. Dress according to the weather and be prepared to get dirty. Be sure to wear closed-toe shoes and keep in mind that you will be walking on dirt, gravel and grass with some rolling hills and unpaved, uneven surfaces. Socks are required on the jump pad.
Schedule
All visitors should arrive promptly by the scheduled start time to begin the group walk (approximately 80 yards each way) to meet and visit the alpacas. Ask about additional experiences for more fun after the alpaca visit. The farm activities available may vary based on weather.
Other Tips
Every visitor must remain with group at all times. Farm does not provide chaperones; please plan accordingly. Be sure to review farm policies prior to arrival. Any changes to trip day, time, etc. are needed at least 48 hrs prior to arrival.
